Xfinity Internet Plans and What Each One Costs

Pick a Speed, See the Price
One row per plan, with the 5-year price from the same quote. Section 06 explains how to choose between them.
| Speed | Recently quoted price (5-year) | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| 300 Mbps | $45/mo | One or two people streaming and working |
| 500 Mbps | $60/mo | A family online at the same time |
| 1 Gig | $70/mo | Bigger households, big downloads |
| 1.2 Gig or 2 Gig | $100/mo | Wired multi-gig equipment |
Know the speed you want and happy to order on xfinity.com? That works, and Xfinity sets the price either way. Calling is more useful when you want the number for your own address, or want AT&T Fiber priced at the same address before you decide.
Every Xfinity Plan, Priced Three Ways
Xfinity sells each speed with a choice: hold one price for five years, or pay less for a year and move to its everyday rate after that. All three numbers below come from the same quote.
| Speed | Recently quoted: 5-year guarantee | Recently quoted: 1-year price | Recently quoted: after year one |
|---|---|---|---|
| 300 Mbps | $45/mofor 60 months | $40/momonths 1–12 | $80/mofrom month 13 |
| 500 Mbps | $60/mofor 60 months | $50/momonths 1–12 | $95/mofrom month 13 |
| 1 Gig | $70/mofor 60 months | $60/momonths 1–12 | $110/mofrom month 13 |
| 1.2 Gig or 2 Gig | $100/mofor 60 months | $90/momonths 1–12 | $140/mofrom month 13 |
Conditions on every price above
Prices include a $10/mo discount for autopay from a bank account plus paperless billing. Card autopay earns $5 instead, and without autopay and paperless billing there's no discount. Taxes and fees are extra.
The after-year-one column is Xfinity's everyday rate in that quote, and Xfinity can raise it. In some markets Xfinity also offers the lower 1-year price shown here; not every address gets that option.
Xfinity's top tier is 1.2 Gig in some areas and 2 Gig in others, at the same quoted price.
Speeds are "up to" download figures for a wired connection; real-world speeds, and Wi-Fi speeds in particular, vary and aren't guaranteed.
Prices can change. Xfinity sets the final price, fees, equipment charges, and terms, and they can vary by address. See current offers on xfinity.com, and confirm your price with an Integra Path advisor before you order.
Five Years Locked, or One Year Cheaper?
Take the 300 Mbps plan. The 1-year price saves $60 over the first twelve months. From month 13 the everyday rate runs $35 a month above the guaranteed price, so by month 14 the cheaper-looking route has cost more in total.
If you expect to stay put for more than a year or so, the guarantee usually comes out ahead. If you're moving soon, the 1-year price can make sense, since neither option has a cancellation fee. The month-by-month numbers for every speed, and the cases where the 1-year price is the better pick, are on our Xfinity 5-year price guarantee page.
In the Monthly Price, and On Top of It
The monthly figure covers more than some providers include, and less than the whole bill. Here's where the line falls.
Included
The Wi-Fi gateway. Xfinity's gateway is the modem and Wi-Fi router in one box, and it comes with the plan rather than as a monthly rental.
Unlimited data. No usage meter on current plans. Some older plans still carry a 1.2 TB monthly data cap.
Advanced Security. Xfinity runs it at the gateway, so it covers the devices on your home network without separate software.
No contract. No annual contract and no early termination fee, whether you take the 5-year guarantee or the 1-year price.
Added to the bill
Taxes and fees. They're outside the advertised price and outside the guarantee, and they vary by where you live.
How you pay. On the 300 Mbps plan, card autopay makes the bill $50 instead of $45; no autopay, or no paperless billing, makes it $55.
Installation. Xfinity offers a self-install kit. A technician visit is available too; its fee isn't listed here, so ask for the amount before booking one.
Mobile lines, if you add them. Mobile Select is $30 and Mobile Plus $45 per line at the regular price, and each new line carries a one-time $25 activation fee unless a promotion waives it. The current line offers and their conditions are on our Xfinity deals page.
Download Gets Advertised. Upload Is the Number to Ask About.
At most addresses Xfinity runs a cable network: fiber to the neighborhood, then coaxial cable into the home. Xfinity markets it as fiber-powered.
Xfinity doesn't list upload speeds alongside its plan prices, and at most addresses upload is far below download. In some areas Xfinity now sells tiers with matching upload and download speeds, first launched as X-Class Internet.
Upload is the direction your files travel when they leave the house: cloud photo backups, large work files sent to a colleague, a live stream, a security camera recording to the cloud. A low upload speed doesn't slow down Netflix; it slows down everything you send.
If that describes how you use the internet, ask whether matching upload speeds are sold at your address, and compare AT&T Fiber, which uploads at the same speed it downloads on every tier. Where both are built, we price them side by side.
Backing up 50 GB at different upload speeds
| Upload speed | Time to finish |
|---|---|
| 25 Mbps (example) | about 4 hr 27 min |
| 100 Mbps (example) | about 1 hr 7 min |
| 300 Mbps (matching upload on a 300 Mbps tier, where sold) | about 22 min |
Example speeds for illustration, not Xfinity specifications. Times assume a steady wired connection.
Which Xfinity Speed Your Household Needs
Speed matters most when several people use the connection at the same moment. The download times below are for a 50 GB file over a wired connection in good conditions; price steps use the 5-year guarantee from the same quote.
One or two people: streaming, browsing, video calls
300 Mbps
A 50 GB download takes about 22 min at 300 Mbps. If big downloads are rare in your home, the next tier adds $15 a month without much you'd notice day to day.
Three or four people online in the evening, someone working from home
500 Mbps
Streams, calls, game updates, and phone backups pile up at the same hour. Moving from 300 Mbps to 500 Mbps costs $15 a month and cuts the same download to about 13 min.
Five or more people, gamers, or regular large downloads
1 Gig
The same 50 GB in about 7 min, for $10 a month more than 500 Mbps. Some recent 1 Gig offers have added Peacock Premium for 2 years; ask whether the offer at your address does.
Computers or a home server wired in and able to use more than a gig
1.2 Gig or 2 Gig
It costs $30 a month more than 1 Gig, and phones and laptops on Wi-Fi rarely get near these speeds, so it pays off only with wired equipment that can use it. Whether you get 1.2 Gig or 2 Gig depends on the area.
What Calling Adds to This Page
Your price, not Houston's. Xfinity's advertised 5-year price for 300 Mbps has ranged from $40 to $55 since the guarantee launched, and it differs from market to market. We read you what your address gets today.
Which version of the network reaches you. Whether matching upload speeds are sold at your address, and whether the top tier there is 1.2 Gig or 2 Gig.
Whether the 1-year price exists there. It isn't offered at every address, and it changes the decision in section 03.
AT&T Fiber at the same address. Xfinity's site only shows Xfinity. We sell AT&T as well, so where AT&T Fiber is built we price both and say which one comes out ahead for you, including when it isn't Xfinity.
How we're paid. Xfinity pays Integra Path a commission when an order goes through. The call costs you nothing, and there's no obligation to order.
What to have ready
Your service address, a rough idea of how many people and devices use the connection, and whether anyone uploads large files. We don't need a Social Security number or a card number to give you a price, and ending the call without ordering is a normal outcome.

If You Want to Spend Less Than the Standard Plans
NOW Internet (prepaid)
Xfinity's prepaid service: 100 Mbps for $30 a month or 200 Mbps for $45, paid ahead, with no credit check and no annual contract. Fewer speeds than the plans above, and the 30-day money-back guarantee doesn't cover it.
Internet Essentials
For households that qualify through programs like SNAP or school lunch, from $14.95 a month. Eligibility rules and both tiers are explained on our Xfinity deals page.
Ordering, Setup, and the First Few Weeks

Address check
We confirm Xfinity serves the address, which speeds are sold there, and what each one costs today, including whether the 1-year price is on offer. - 2
Equipment and installation
Xfinity offers a self-install kit. A technician visit is available too; its fee isn't listed here, so ask for the amount before booking one. - 3
Changeover

It can combine a partial month with the month ahead, so it may look higher than the plan price. Later statements settle at the regular monthly amount. - 5
The first 30 days
Xfinity's 30-day money-back guarantee covers its postpaid Internet, TV, and Voice service: cancel within 30 days and the service, equipment, and installation charges for what you cancel are refunded. It doesn't apply to NOW prepaid service.
Xfinity Plan Questions, Including Support and Outages
No. We're an independent authorized reseller. Xfinity sets the prices, availability, and terms for any plan ordered through us, and once the order goes through, your account, billing, and support are with Xfinity.
No. It reaches Integra Path Online's plan specialists, who compare and order new internet service. For billing, payments, or anything else on an account you already have, use the contact options in your Xfinity account or on xfinity.com; we can't access existing accounts.
No. We don't provide Xfinity technical support, router help, or line diagnostics; Xfinity handles those for its own customers. If ongoing problems have you thinking about a different plan or provider, we can compare what's sold at your address, including AT&T Fiber where it's built.
Mostly cable. At most addresses Xfinity runs fiber to the neighborhood and coaxial cable into the home, and it markets that network as fiber-powered. Some areas now have equipment that supports matching upload and download speeds.
Not on its current plans, which include unlimited data. Some older plans still carry a 1.2 TB monthly data cap. That matters if you're comparing against a plan you've had for years.
They're the same slot in the lineup in different places. Xfinity's top tier is 1.2 Gig in some areas and 2 Gig in others, and in the quote this page uses it was $100 a month on the 5-year guarantee either way.
It depends on the address. Xfinity doesn't list upload speeds next to its plan prices, and at most addresses upload is far below download. Some areas now sell tiers where upload matches download. We can tell you which applies at your address.
No annual contract on either the 5-year guarantee or the 1-year price, and no early termination fee. The guarantee locks the price; it doesn't commit you to stay.
Every price here comes from a recent quote for a Houston, TX address. Xfinity prices differ by market and change often: its advertised 5-year price for 300 Mbps has ranged from $40 to $55 since the guarantee launched. The price confirmed for your own address is the one that counts.
No. The advertised prices include a $10 monthly discount that needs autopay from a bank account plus paperless billing. Card autopay earns $5 instead, and skipping autopay or paperless billing removes the discount.
Yes. Xfinity offers a self-install kit. A technician visit is also available; we don't list its fee because we haven't been able to confirm a current figure, so ask for the amount before booking one.
Cancel within 30 days. Xfinity's money-back guarantee on its postpaid internet refunds the service, equipment, and installation charges for what you cancel.
On the 5-year guarantee, nothing: the base rate stays put for 60 months. On the 1-year price, month 13 moves the bill to Xfinity's everyday rate, which on the 300 Mbps plan in the same quote was $40 a month higher than the 1-year price. The full comparison for every speed is on our Xfinity price guarantee page.
